Another homebuilder purchases lots in the Atwater Reserve development

Manuel Builders has purchased 15 lots in the Atwater Reserve subdivision as the development continues to expand.

Manuel Builders LLC, represented by Timothy Guilbeau, purchased the lots from Atwater Development LLC for $1.275 million, according to a deal filed last week with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s office.

Todd Waguespack represented Atwater Development LLC, a subsidiary of Engquist Development.

The Atwater property backs up to Nicholson Drive across from Lexington Estates. The lots purchased are on Waterbury Drive. 

Baton Rouge-based Level Homes purchased 36 lots in the development in March for $2.85 million. In late February, Denham Springs-based DSLD purchased nearly 150 lots in the subdivision for $10 million. Alvarez Construction has also purchased lots for development.

John Engquist bought the land for the 800-lot Atwater residential development for $12.5 million in 2021.
