The owner of Belli, formerly Capitol Grocery, is pursuing a liquor license for the iconic Spanish Town store. The move is a formality to sell craft beer and wine, as Baton Rouge’s Alcoholic Beverage Control requires a liquor license for any spirits above 6% alcohol per volume.
