A local boutique now has a presence at the Baton Rouge airport

Local boutique Sweet Baton Rouge is now offering its apparel at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport.

Owner Meredith Waguespack announced the news on social media Wednesday. She calls the partnership a “dream come true.”

“We are thrilled for this opportunity and excited to see where this takes us,” Waguespack writes.

Travelers can find the boutique’s apparel in the CNBC News store on the airport’s upper level.

Sweet Baton Rouge opened a storefront in Mid City’s Electric Depot mixed-use development in 2020, and three years later, the business moved to its current location in Perkins Rowe.

Earlier this year, Waguespack launched a podcast—The Nouveau Podcast—tailored for local small business owners. Read more about that project here.
