A Baton Rouge-based holding company recently bought more than 30 lots in the Highlandia residential community in Livingston Parish.

Pavo Capital Inc., represented by Lee Foster, bought 33 lots in two separate transactions for $1.8 million, according to the deals filed Wednesday with the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court’s office.

In one transaction, Pavo Capital Inc., represented by Lee Foster, bought 14 lots from Bardwell Construction Co. LLC, represented by Scott Bardwell, for nearly $690,000.

In the second transaction, Pavo Capital Inc. purchased 19 lots from BCC Highlandia, represented by Bardwell, for $1.1 million.

Business filings list  Jeffery Purpera and Foster as directors of Pavo Capital Inc. The purchased lots are a part of Highlandia’s second filing, sales documents show.

The Highlandia community is north of Interstate 12 off Highlandia Drive and Cane Market Road.

Bardwell tells Daily Report that the holding company plans to sell the lots to a pair of local builders, Level Homes and AP Dodson, who have recently purchased lots in the community.

Level Homes purchased four lots earlier this month to expand its footprint in Livingston Parish, with plans to acquire more. AP Dodson bought four lots as well, according to a deal filed Wednesday.
