James Rhee, who went from being a high school teacher to a voice of global leadership, will be in Baton Rouge next week for a pair of speaking engagements.
B1Bank is partnering with the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business and Southern University to host the author, whose book Red Helicopter last year debuted as the top book on USA Today’s Best-selling Booklist.
Rhee left teaching to become a private equity investor and over the years has established himself as an executive and a voice of leadership. He’s known for bridging math with emotions by marrying capital with purpose and his leadership practices have been recognized by business and civic organizations across the globe.
The morning session will be held at the E. J. Ourso College of Business Education Complex/Rotunda at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a fireside chat with Jude Melville, chair and CEO of b1Bank.
There will be an evening session at Southern University’s TT Allain Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a chat with Chloe Haynes, a senior management major and College of Business senator.
While the events are free to the public, there are limited seats available. RSVP for your seat and learn more about the events.
