A nearly 300-unit apartment complex in Gonzales has new ownership.
California real estate firm Griffin Capital bought the Oaks at Riverbend apartment complex property on St. Francis Parkway near South Burnside Avenue from The Waters at Heritage LLC for an undisclosed amount, according to a deal filed last week with the Ascension Parish Clerk of Court’s office.
Griffin Capital CFO Daniel Snell represented the buyer. Stoa Group CEO Toby Easterly represented the seller.
The 299-unit complex was built in 2023 and was one of four Stoa Group multifamily developments in the Capital Region. The company sold the 336-unit Silver Oaks Apartments in Gonzales for $76.8 million in 2022.
