    Misplaced fears?: U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright says the sell-off in the oil market is overblown, and he expects American crude producers to keep increasing production. “You see a marketplace right now that is worried about economic growth,” Wright said during an interview on Bloomberg Television on Friday. “I think that fear is misplaced.” Read more from Bloomberg.

    Striking back: China said Friday morning that it would raise its retaliatory tariff on U.S. goods to 125%, matching the latest duty imposed by the White House on Chinese goods. The 125% tariff will go into effect Saturday, China’s tariff commission said. Read more from The Wall Street Journal.
