    Calling all creatives: The Louisiana Division of the Arts is opening applications May 5 for its FY2025-2026 Louisiana Project Grant, with awards ranging from $2,500 to $7,500. Offered in partnership with the state’s nine regional arts councils, the grant supports innovative community-based projects across the state. The deadline to apply is June 27 and grant amounts range from $2,500 to $7,500. The Division of Arts is encouraging projects centered around Culinary Arts to apply for the grant.     Poised for opportunity: Stores selling secondhand clothes, shoes and accessories are poised to benefit from President Donald Trump’s trade war, according to industry experts. Such price hikes may drive cost-conscious shoppers to online resale sites, consignment boutiques and thrift stores in search of bargains or a way to turn their wardrobes into cash.     Stocks take a tumble: U.S. stocks tumbled on Monday as President Donald Trump stepped up his criticism of the Federal Reserve.
