    Second strike: Google has been branded an abusive monopolist by a federal judge for the second time in less than a year, this time for illegally exploiting some of its online marketing technology to boost the profits fueling an internet empire currently worth $1.8 trillion. The ruling issued Thursday by U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema in Virginia comes on the heels of a separate decision in August that concluded Google’s namesake search engine has been illegally leveraging its dominance to stifle competition and innovation.     Fiscal budget: The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority voted Wednesday to fully fund its nearly $2 billion spending plan for next fiscal year, although a quarter of those funds are tied to a project Gov. Jeff Landry paused last week. Read more from the Louisiana Illuminator

    Seafood boil: Live and boiled crawfish prices remained about the same as they were last week, according to The Crawfish App, which tracks local prices, with the average prices dropping roughly $.05 cents per pound. Live crawfish are averaging $3.10 per pound this weekend for a medium-large mix, while boiled crawfish is averaging $5.50 per pound. Laney King, founder of the app, notes that a sack of crawfish can be found priced well under $3 per pound in every metro area of Louisiana.
