Labor Day travel bookings are up


    After a record-breaking summer, vacation bookings remain up looking ahead, Bloomberg reports. 

    Bookings for domestic travel over the Labor Day weekend are up 9% from last year, according to motor club AAA.

    While that estimate only includes travel booked through AAA, the data underscores the continuing summer demand for fuel in the U.S. Domestic travel was forecast to reach a record over the July 4 holiday week, and reached a 20-year high for the Memorial Day weekend before that.
