Here’s when parents can apply for state’s new private school tuition program


    Louisiana parents will be able to apply next spring for the first round of state government funding for private school tuition, tutoring and other educational expenses for the 2025 academic year under the new LA Gator Scholarship Program, USA Today network reports.

    State public schools Superintendent Cade Brumley said on Tuesday during a House Education Committee hearing that the first families eligible for the educational savings accounts will be the 6,000 students already participating in Louisiana’s existing private school tuition voucher program.Students from low income families and students with disabilities will follow.
