Baton Rouge mental health services provider expands to the Northeast

    Beacon Behavioral Partners, a provider of support services for behavioral health, announced on Wednesday a partnership with Nexus Group, a Pittsburgh outpatient mental health facility. 

    This is Beacon’s first partnership in the Northeast. Founded in 1998 and formerly known as Synergy, Beacon started as a freestanding community health center in Baton Rouge. Its new Pennsylvania partner joins Beacon’s network that includes locations in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. 

    Beacon plans to continue expanding across the country and providing mental health services on a larger scale. 

    Northbone Partners, a middle-market investment bank specializing in M&A advisory services for privately held companies, was the financial adviser to Nexus Group and helped facilitate the partnership with Beacon.
