A restaurant chain bought the former Gonzales Piccadilly site for $2.5M

National restaurant chain Chick-fil-A purchased the former Piccadilly location in Gonzales for the company’s second location in Ascension Parish.

Chick-fil-A Inc., represented by Executive Director Vance Burgess, purchased the property from Vince Diez Properties Inc. for $2.5 million, according to sales documents filed with the Ascension Parish Clerk of Court.

The purchased property is at the corner of Airline Highway and East Ascension Street.

The Piccadilly there closed permanently in March 2023. It was the cafeteria’s only Ascension Parish site.

Chick-fil-A has 52 restaurants in Louisiana, including 11 in the Capital Region. The other Ascension Parish location is on West Highway 30 in Gonzales.

The restaurant temporarily closed its Millerville Road location for a few weeks this summer for renovations.
