Denham Springs-based Presley Wealth Management is relocating to a larger office after purchasing a two-story building just down the street from its current location.
Founder Christy Smith and her husband, Richard Smith, bought the 12,000-square-foot office building at 291 Veterans Blvd. through their entity CR Smith Holdings LLC. The seller, 291 Plus LLC, was represented by Lucius Hornsby of Keller Williams Realty Acadiana. The $2 million deal was filed today with the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court.
Kyle Franklin of Covington & Associates brokered the deal for the buyer.
Franklin tells Daily Report that Presley Wealth Management plans to renovate the new space and move in once work is complete. The firm currently operates out of a 5,000-square-foot building nearby, which it plans to sell after the move. The transition is expected to happen by early next year.
Christy Smith founded the financial advisory and retirement planning firm in 2015. The company’s website lists nine staff members.
