A Chicago-based home rental company expands again in Livingston Parish

Home rental company Kairos Living continues to grow its presence in Livingston Parish, recently acquiring six residential lots in Denham Springs.

The company purchased the lots in the South Haven subdivision from AP Dodson LLC for just under $1.6 million, according to a deal filed last week with the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court.

The acquisition was made through SFR KL MS Borrower I LLC, a Kairos affiliate whose officer is listed as James Athanasopoulos, according to Louisiana Secretary of State business filings. CT Corporation System is listed as the Baton Rouge-based registered agent. Brandon Dodson represented the seller in the transaction.

Sales documents show the purchased lots are located along Pinyon Drive, off Walker South Road.

This latest deal adds to a string of recent acquisitions by the Chicago-based company. In December, Kairos bought seven lots across three DSLD communities for $1.5 million. Earlier this year, the company picked up eight additional lots in two DSLD neighborhoods for $1.7 million.

In October, Kairos also acquired seven lots spanning three subdivisions in a $1.49 million purchase.

Founded in 2019, Kairos Living is a technology-driven real estate investment and property management company focused on single-family home rentals. Operating as a value-add residential investment fund, the company has expanded its footprint to several markets across Louisiana, including Lafayette and Lake Charles.
