Architecture and Design

Lloyd A. Blanchard joined IEM as the new Director of Public Performance Management. Blanchard will help broaden IEM’s practice in performance management and performance budgeting for clients. He previously served as the vice provost of LSU and as the associate director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Kathleen Gordon was named the first executive director of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Gordon has worked in the design and construction field since 1995. In her new role, she will help AIA to expand and play a more active role in the community.

Communications and Media

Aaron Hilliard was named manager, field service for Cox Greater Louisiana. Hilliard previously served as field service supervisor. He joined the local system two years ago from Cox New Orleans, where he began as a technician in 2001 before progressing in a series of supervisory roles. In his new role, he is responsible for managing contractors and their staffs in the Baton Rouge and Acadiana markets.

Lewis Lemoine was named marketing manager for Cox Business, Cox Greater Louisiana’s service provider for small- to large-sized businesses, local governments and educational institutions. Lemoine joins the local system from Cox Hampton Roads in Virginia, where he served for six years, most recently as senior product manager in the marketing department. In his new role, he will manage marketing initiatives for Cox Business in the Acadiana and Baton Rouge markets.

Education

Harold “Pent” Penton, founder of Innovation Insights, was named by LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business’ Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute to rejuvenate its Executive Education program as consulting director. This program provides an immediate impact to organizations through management development courses. Penton previously served on the board of trustees of the Institute of Textile Technology and is a past member of European Industrial Research Managers Association.

Financial and Insurance

John Everett was named senior vice president of commercial banking for IberiaBank. Everett previously served as vice president with Whitney National Bank. In his new role, he will oversee a large commercial portfolio and be instrumental in the acquisition of new clients. His office is located at the Baton Rouge headquarters on Essen Lane.

Rhonda Shea was named vice president, commercial relationship manager for IberiaBank. Shea previously served as vice president with Whitney Bank in Baton Rouge. In her new role, she will serve the existing commercial client base and develop new banking relationships.

Charles Abboud was named manager of employee benefits and financial services for Wright and Percy Insurance, a division of BancorpSouth Insurance Services. Abboud previously served as financial services supervisor and has been with the company for 12 years. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Financial Planner.

Health Care

Edgardo Tenreiro joined Baton Rouge General/General Health System as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Tenreiro previously worked with the NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Fla., in a variety of executive and management positions, including vice president of operations and vice president of cardiology and oncology service lines.

Industry

Janile Parks joined the business development team at MAPP Construction. Parks previously worked to develop new business for education and finance projects as marketing manager for Chase Bank. She will develop relationships with clients on a regional basis.

Abby Flynn joined the marketing team of MAPP Construction. Flynn comes to MAPP from Best Buddies International of Chicago, where she served as the high school program manager in a nonprofit environment. She will work as a marketing coordinator focusing on the regional offices.

Ross B. Atkins was named vice president for Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association. Atkins assumes the role of lead lobbyist for the association and will also be fulfilling some administrative duties. He previously served as project director for U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu and at the Palmer Group, a governmental affairs consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

Nonprofit

Keila Stovall was named assistant executive director of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge. Stovall previously served as vice president of development and philanthropy for the Baton Rouge Food Bank. She will oversee resource development and strategic initiative projects.
