Accounting

Jonathan Clark was named team leader for Ryan, a tax consulting firm. He previously held the position of senior consultant.

Sheree Abadie was named senior consultant for Ryan. She previously held the position of consultant.

Chamber

Meg Mahoney was named senior vice president of product development for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. In her new role, Mahoney will lead BRAC’s public policy and product development efforts. Previously, Mahoney served as the Chamber’s director of technology, entrepreneurship and small business. She has also worked with the governor’s office.

Financial and Insurance

Cindy Hill Dietrich was named assistant vice president at Hancock Bank. Dietrich is a 29-year veteran of the Louisiana financial services arena. She joined Hancock two years ago and previously served as branch operations manager at Hancock Bank of Louisiana’s Coursey Boulevard branch.

Tyelise P. Harrison was named assistant vice president at Hancock Bank. Previously a branch operations manager and financial services associate, Harrison currently manages the One American Place branch downtown. She joined Hancock Bank almost seven years ago and has 15 years’ financial services experience.

Denise McCain was named assistant vice president at Hancock Bank. A financial services associate at the bank’s Sherwood Forest branch, she has been with Hancock more than seven years and has 16 years’ financial services experience.

Nickie Buhler-Paul was named assistant vice president at Hancock Bank. Buhler-Paul previously served as a financial services officer at the bank’s CitiPlace headquarters. A 14-year associate of Hancock Bank, Paul has also served as a teller and a branch generalist. She completed numerous American Institute of Banking courses as well as Commercial Credit School through Hancock University, the company’s comprehensive training, education and professional development curriculum.

Linda Sullivan was named manager of business development for Wright and Percy Insurance, a division of BancorpSouth Insurance Services. Sullivan previously served as secretary to the board/office manager for the Reilly Family Foundation & Deeanna Enterprises, where she managed all business facets for the nonprofit foundation.

David Karisny joined Baton Rouge Telco FCU as chief financial officer. Karisny comes from Security National where he served as corporate controller. Karisny also has extensive banking experience in the accounting and audit functions.

Brad Bourg was named director of business development with direct supervision of ongoing and future business development activities at Peters Financial. Bourg has more than 10 years experience in corporate business development and management roles, including roles with Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific.

Kim Halphen was named manager of life and disability underwriting/operations for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. Halphen joined Blue Cross in 2003 and previously served as Southern National Life operations specialist. In her new role, Halphen will oversee the operations and underwriting activities of the company’s group life and disability products.

Government

Jim Davis joined the State Library of Louisiana as the new director of the Center for the Book, beginning May 12. Previously, Davis served on the staff of Jefferson Parish Library as adult programming manager for the system of 16 public libraries.

Health Care

Dr. J. Brannon Alberty joined Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital as a pediatric gastroenterologist. Alberty is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine. Previously, he was an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington.

Industry

Paul Friloux was named vice president of construction for Excel Contractors. Friloux previously served as a project manager for the company and has nearly 30 years of industrial construction and maintenance experience. As vice president, he will manage all aspects of industrial construction services.

Nonprofit

Sam Matcha joined Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corp. as project management office and business analysis manager. In this position, Matcha will be responsible for overseeing project management for the company, including defining, testing and implementing information technology projects and serving as a liaison between business departments, vendors and the information technology staff. Previously, he served as a project manager, business analyst and consultant for Antares Technology Solutions.

Retail and Local Business

Kristine Bulot was named marketing manager for the Sunshine Pages. Bulot brings with her more than six years of experience in the online Yellow Pages industry.

Nicholas Fidanza joined the Sunshine Pages as product manager. Fidanza brings with him four years of experience in the online Yellow Pages industry.

Cathy Truong joined the Sunshine Pages as advertising and public relations manager. Truong has more than four years of advertising experience.
