Few sectors are experiencing as much change as heavy industry and industrial construction. Digital transformation, AI, offsite modularization, navigating renewable energy, just to name a few.
What’s the impact on the broader workforce right now? What are some common pitfalls leaders should avoid when leading through change? And what’s the best way to address and manage resistance within an organization?
Turner Industries CEO Stephen Toups will share those insights and more on the December episode of Strictly Business. The webcast will air at 11 a.m. December 20. Register here.
Toups has been with the national industrial contractor for 27 years serving in many capacities.
He is the past chairman of the National Center for Construction Education and Research, and has served on the Executive Committee for the American Fuels and Petrochemical Manufacturers, and on the advisory council of the Engineering and Construction Contracting Association. He is also past chairman for the LCTCS Foundation Board of Directors.
The LSU graduate was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors as the Construction Leader of the Year and named one of the Top 10 Breakout Technology Leaders in the nation by the Global CIO Summit.
Turner Industries this year earned the top spot on the LSU ROARING 20 list, which recognizes the 20 highest revenue-generating LSU graduate-owned or graduate-led businesses from all those that apply for the LSU 100 each year.
