Matt Desrosiers has been hired as manager of pipe fabrication for Trade Construction Co. Desrosiers has more than 12 years of experience in maintenance and operations, most recently serving as a turnaround engineer at Shell Motiva. In his new role, he will be responsible for estimating and project management for Trade's pipe fabrication division.



INSURANCE

Hub International Gulf South has expanded the role of Senior Vice President Kit Marye to include responsibilities as the firm's director of client services and stewardship.



Tim Temple has joined Worley of Hammond as an executive director responsible for the development of both private and public sector program administration. Temple is the former CEO of HGI and has more than 18 years of experience in the risk management and insurance industry.



MEDICAL

Dr. Scott Curry, an orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in joint realignment and reconstruction, and Dr. Matthew Lafleur, an orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in spine surgery, have joined North Oaks Orthopaedic Specialty Center. Curry earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Lafleur earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.



Central Physical Therapy announced the hiring of longtime WAFB medical correspondent Phil Rainier for the newly created position of director of marketing and communications. In addition to his duties at WAFB, Rainier has been a regular contributor to the nationally syndicated TV program America Now.




NONPROFIT

Louisiana One Call has announced David Frey has been appointed executive director. Frey has been the association's damage prevention manager since 1987. The service includes more than a thousand operators of underground systems.



The Water Institute of the Gulf has hired veteran researcher Ernst Peebles as director of coastal systems ecology. Peebles has studied coastal ecology and estuaries for more than 30 years.



BRAC announced it has hired Larry Collins as a director of business development. Collins will be responsible for regional economic development in coordination with the parishes of Ascension, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana.



TOURISM

Hotel Indigo announced Margaret Maggio-Chappuis has been named its director of sales and marketing. Maggio-Chappuis most recently served as corporate director of sales at Avalon Hotel Group in Gonzales. She has more than 25 years of experience.
