Downtown Baton Rouge's The 13th Gate has is once again being named among the most frightening haunted house experiences in the country. Hauntworld.com on Saturday named The 13th Gate the nation's No. 1 haunted house in its rankings this year, which you can check out here. The 13th Gate was ranked No. 3 on the website's list last year, and No. 4 in 2010—and was last ranked No. 1 on its list in 2009. Meanwhile, The 13th Gate is listed as the country's 15th-best haunted house on an annual ranking released this morning by www.HauntedHouseRatings.com, which compiles its list each year based on votes cast on its website. The 13th Gate ranked No. 10 on the list last year, and No. 5 in 2010.
