Jindal reportedly on guest list of Romney's mega-donor retreat this weekend
Fresh off the best fundraising stretch of his presidential campaign, Mitt Romney plans to spend this weekend strategizing and fraternizing with his biggest bundlers at a posh resort in Park City, Utah. And citing "a fundraiser who is attending," The Washington Post reports Gov. Bobby Jindal is among a number of potential vice president picks on the guest list. Others include Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and Sen. John Thune of South Dakota. The presumptive Republican nominee, his senior advisers and aides are hosting two days of policy sessions and campaign strategy discussions at the Deer Valley resort for more than 100 top fundraisers and their spouses. Only those who raised more than $100,000 are expected to attend. Conservative strategist Karl Rove, who helps run American Crossroads, the well-funded GOP super PAC, is also planning to speak at the retreat, according to the Washington Post source, who was not authorized to discuss publicly the event and spoke on condition of anonymity.
