The Louisiana Technology Park and LSU Center for Computation & Technology will host the iOS Application Workshop for Professionals (6 day camp, Monday thru Saturday), at the Louisiana Technology Park. This educational experience offers professionals hands-on training in basic techniques to create and deploy mobile applications on iphones, ipods, and ipads. Participants will work hands-on in groups and will:
1) be introduced to the iOS-5 software development kit, X code and iOS Architecture
2) learn various iOS application development, processes and techniques
test and improve upon their new developmental skills
3) create an application that will be deployed on their own iPhones, iPods, or iPads
4) be introduced to mobile applications' business market, trends and opportunities.
This iOS course has been designed to also include numerous tips, tricks and lessons learned to help new iPhone App Developers succeed.
Entry-level programming experience and understanding of general computer use (PC, Linux or Mac); interest in learning & creating new technologies.
